We have a selection of class types to suit you. Our group classes are small with 8 people maximum, so we can give you the attention necessary for skill development. If you’re not sure which class type will be best for you, please get in touch and we can chat through it together.

Group Classes

FOUNDATION -

(entry-level)

In our foundation class you will learn the fundamentals of Pilates and start to familiarise yourself with the reformer. This class is run at a slightly slower pace and we break down the exercises to ensure you establish correct technique. Suitable for remedial or senior clients and those who are just beginning their Pilates journey.

Duration: 50 minutes

Classic -

(intermediate-level)

Our classic class utilises the reformer and other small props to give you a full body workout. We have designed this class for those who have some previous Pilates experience. This class is slightly faster paced and of a higher intensity than Foundation.

Duration: 50 minutes

Hybrid -

(intermediate/experienced-level)

Hybrid is an exclusive class to our little studio! It is a higher intensity, varying class that often incorporates the reformer & TRX. Some hybrid classes have an added cardio element to increase your heart rate, whilst others include additional weights & balance to challenge your strength. As a higher intensity class, we recommend our Hybrid session to those with an established Pilates practice and a moderate fitness level.

TRX -

(intermediate/experienced-level)

Our small group TRX class is designed to develop strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability. TRX is a low impact form of suspension training that uses your own body weight to perform the exercises. This class incorporates mat Pilates into it’s design and often ends with stretching & mobility work.

Duration: 50 minutes

Studio Pilates

Private or Duet

These sessions are designed to help you learn the Pilates method in a private or semi private setting. You can experience the different apparatus and we can work together to create a program for your individual needs. As these sessions are individualised, they are suitable for those who have been referred by a treating practitioner for Pilates injury management. Unlike the group reformer classes, each client has his or her own individual program to practice.
Duration: 60 minutes

INITIAL CONSULTATION

In order to participate in our studio Pilates sessions, we require that you book a time for an initial consultation first. This gives us time to get to know you and your body’s movement, function, and possible limitations. It allows us to work together to determine your goals and discuss any health issues or reservations you may have. A postural assessment and specific muscle testing can be completed in this session. Following your initial consultation an individualised program will be developed. From here, you can then choose if you would like to have a private or duet studio Pilates session.

How do I start?

Our First Time Passes are the most cost effective way to make a start. You can enjoy either one of our First Time Passes over a 3 week period that starts once you take your first class or session. If you are new to Pilates we recommend starting with our Foundation Reformer classes and progress when you feel ready.
